My favourite place in the world.

I recently went to the Marina Bay with my parents. After visiting the place I had fond memories of it. There are a lot of buildings and tourist attractions I could see. It was especially beautiful at night. I took lots of photos there.

Using my mobile phone, the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic, I took the photos with its 3.2 Megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. Although it was night, the photos were decently bright and sharp enough for us to see and enjoy. It was a nice photo taking experience.

Now, I am going to walkthrough what I have seen in Marina Bay, as well as share a few of the photos that I took.

Firstly, as we stepped out of the carpark, we could see towering buildings above us. One of the buildings was Fullerton hotel. It was facsinating. Near us, there was the durian-shaped Esplanade. I never thought it would look so humongous. I could see the windows in the Esplanade, which made up the 'cones' of the durian.

There were many people at the waterfront. In the night, the water in the river was glittering like gold under the moonlight. After a while, we walked across the brigde (I don't know what the name of the brigde is). People were walking across the brigde, too. There were many types of people there, mainly tourists and locals. We admired the water, boats and the faraway buildings while on the brigde.
After crossing the brigde, we could see an area with trees, a small merlion, a large merlion, and lots of people or tourists. We went down to the area. First, I looked at the small merlion which is of my height. People and children were taking photos of it. Then, I saw the large merlion's back. It is lit brightly in the night sky and I could feel the size of it over me. There was a pier that leads to the front of the large merlion. We walked slowly and finally seeing the front of the merlion. This time, it felt larger than ever. I could even see the brightly lit teeth in the merlion's mouth. Tourists were there too, snapping away photos of the large merlion on their cameras.

Lastly, it was time to go home, we crossed from the pier back to the brigde and then to the esplanade to the carpark. After that day, I had fond memories of the Marina Bay and it would be my favourite place in the world.
